This last Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles faced off against the New York Giants.

The Giants dominated the entire first 3 quarters of the game, and almost half the 4th quarter. With about 8 minutes left in the fourth, the tide started to turn in the Eagles’ favor.

With 14 seconds left, game tied at 31, rookie punter Matt Dodge made a huge mistake…

How do you kick to DeSean Jackson in that situation?

But when it comes to fourth quarter comebacks, one video will always stand out in my mind. This is Texas high school football from 1994.  John Tyler was up 41-16 over rival Plano East with 3 minutes left in the state championship game. Enjoy.

That was an awesome run and while I usually despise a showboat move like that, the run along the goal line was great individual clock management.
